I have been working on a fun project the last couple months! I have always loved to sew, and the last few years I've made aprons as gifts. Recently I have sold a few here and there and now I have decided to open up shop! Most of all, I have totally loved having a creative outlet - it is fun and theraputic. Here are some of the aprons I've made. I've opened a shop on Etsy (an online superstore for handmade goodies) if you are interested! The link for that is to the right as well.

Cute dresses. But you know a photo from the southwest when the background has cinder block.
Ali, Happy late BIrthday! I didn't know you were the 1st of June. Also, what darling Aprons. Your whole family is so talented...awesome job.
Whatever Martha!! I love, love these aprons. Totally going to check out your shop. What a fun hobby/talent! I'm jealous that you know how to sew. Maybe you should teach sewing classes too:)
I had no idea you were doing this...I feel like a horrible friend..you have an amazing talent for sure!!
You are on a roll with blogging... I had to double check that it was really your blog!! I had no idea you were so good at sewing. I'm still on sewing 101... can do a few things (I am REALLY good at sewing straight lines :), but nothing fancy. I have to have that red and blue apron- that is the cutest thing I've ever seen. Let me know how much $ and bring it next time you deliver dinner!!
I absolutely LOVE those aprons! Do you have a link for the aprons? I will add it to my list on my sidebar. As for the cushions... no I ust traced around the cushions and cut and sewed and put the cushions in and cut and sewed some more. I prefer to not use patterns anyhow. i find it's much easier to make my own. But like I mentioned the closures didnt turn out so great... so maybe a pattern would have helped with that.
Wow, Ali! I am completely impressed! These are the cutest aprons I have ever seen. I remember you told me once that you made your own swimsuit pattern when you were a little girl. You really amaze me! What a fun hobby too! Love ya! Thanks for the call today!
